(start a rumor monday...)
this just in...
former members of en vogue, 3lw, and destiny's child to form supergroup.
13.december.2004--dawn robinson, maxine jones, amanda cole, naturi naughton, latavia robertson, letoya luckett, (and soon michelle williams)--also more generally known as former members of the girl groups, envogue, 3lw, and destiny's child, respectively--will join together to form the supergroup tentavely called, "exmember". though they've yet to land a record deal, the group has signed on for an 8-week run in branson, missouri opening and singing background for tony orlando. after that, the group's plans are up in the air, but they hope to get booked as talent on a ship of one of the major cruiselines.
though they're working on new material, most of exmember's act will be performances of the hits (or hit, if you're naturi of 3lw) of the group they either were kicked out of, left, or both. when asked if they thought this in direct conflict with some of the lawsuits they'd filed against their old groups, exmember said absolutely not. "look, beyonce wouldn't be beyonce if we hadn't have left the group," says, luckett, formerly of destiny's child. "i mean damn. would we all have heard 'survivor' incessantly during the summer of 2002 if tavia and me had not left the group? helll no. so i'm like, why can't i sing that shit? hell, i was always cuter than beyonce any damn way."
on a brighter note, en vogue's maxine jones added, "i think exmember will be a versatile group. our wide range in age insures that we'll be able to book appearances on variety television specials. we can perform on shows on the disney channel and the hallmark channel. young or old, this group's got you covered."
true dat.

exmember should feature Kina and Nicci Gilbert on their debut album, ex-members of the former R&B phenom - Brownstone.
i'm sure they'll be on the remix of something.
Oh... that is too funny.... but we need some male flava... how's about Bobby Brown and Levi Little from Blackstreet?
Why was I believing that mess? You have no sense whatsoever. Guess who again?
